Kohli, in his 18th consecutive season for RCB, has started IPL 2025 strong, scoring 97 runs in three matches at a strike rate of over 134. Bumrah, returning from a back injury sustained during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year, will be eager to make a statement in front of his home crowd.
Meanwhile, the Kohli vs Rohit narrative adds another layer of drama. Kohli boasts 27,599 international runs to Rohit’s 19,700, but in the IPL, Rohit has the silverware edge — five titles to Kohli’s none.
