2025 Honda Dio 125 launched in India at Rs 96,749: What’s new

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the new and updated Honda Dio 125 scooter in the Indian market. The new scooter is offered in two variants – DLX and H-Smart, priced at Rs 96,749 and Rs 1,02,144 (ex-showroom), for reference, the updated model is Rs 8,798 costlier than the previous model.
The Scooter is offered in five colour options – Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red. The new Dio 125 will directly compete with the TVS NTorq 125 and interested customers can book the scooter by visiting their nearest dealership and the deliveries are expected to begin soon.

The updated Dio 125 features a 4.2-inch TFT display replacing the LCD screen. It supports Honda’s RoadSync app, which features Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, call and text alerts. It now also comes with a USB type C charging port. The scooter continues to be powered by the same 123.92cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 8.16 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm torque. It comes paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and it now also comes with an idle stop system. This engine is now updated to meet OBD2B specifications which go into effect in 2025. Other than this, there are no cosmetic changes made to the scooter except introduction of new graphics.
