BSEB Exams 2025: Class 10 Special, Compartment Exams Schedule Announced
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the schedule for the Class 10 (Matric) Special and Compartment exams for 2025. These examinations are set to commence on May 2 and will continue until May 7.
BSEB Class 10 Special and Compartment Exams 2025: As per the announcement, the exams will be conducted from May 2 to May 7, offering a second chance to students who could not clear one or two subjects in the main matriculation exams held earlier this year.
A total of 62,273 students are expected to appear for these examinations. Out of these, 54,652 students have registered for the compartment exams, while 7,621 students will sit for the special exams. The special examination is intended for students who missed the regular board exams due to valid reasons, while the compartment exam is for those who failed in a maximum of two subjects.
The board has instructed all candidates to follow proper examination guidelines, including arriving at the centers on time, carrying their admit cards, and refraining from any unfair means. The exam centers will be under strict surveillance to ensure a fair and smooth conduct of exams.
On the official BSEB website, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, students can download the comprehensive subject-by-subject schedule along with other pertinent instructions. On March 31, 2025, the Bihar Board already released the Class 10 results, with an overall pass rate of 82.91%. Instead of waiting a full year to reappear, students who failed to qualify in up to two courses were offered the opportunity to take these impending tests.
While the Class 12 theory examinations will last until May 13, the Class 10 exams will end by May 7. View the schedule below:
The results of the special and compartment exams are expected to be declared by the end of May or early June 2025, enabling qualified students to proceed with their academic journey without delay.
