Dust storm, heavy rain sweeps across Delhi-NCR | India News
NEW DELHI: In a relief from intense heat, Delhi and the national capital region (NCR) witnessed dust storm accompanied by heavy rainfall and thunderstorm on early Friday morning.
The strong intensity of the wind led to the collapse of a metal structure at terminal 3 of Delhi airport.
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.8°C, 2.1°C higher than the seasonal average. The weather office predicted thunderstorms with rain, and the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 37°C.
