Karnataka SSLC result 2025 released: Girls significantly outperform boys with a 15.3% margin, Dakshina Kannada leads in districts

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially announced the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results for the year 2025. The results were released on Friday.
The pass percentage for the KSEAB SSLC Result 2025 is 66.14.
The exams were conducted in March this year, with 7,90,890 students appearing and 5,23,075 students clearing. As much as 10.53 per cent students who passed the examination were able to score higher than 90 per cent.
Girls beat boys in pass per rate yet again with a 15.3 point margin. The pass rate for girls stands at 74 per cent, while 58.07 per cent for boys.
Dakshina Kannada leads the district category with 91.12 per cent of students clearing the examination. Udupi follows with 89.96 per cent.

Girls serve yet another feat with a remarkable 74% pass rate

Girls have once again taken the lead in Karnataka SSLC 2025 results, both in terms of pass percentage and academic excellence.
This year, 74 per cent of girls cleared the exam, compared to 58.07 per cent of boys. Female students have also dominated the merit list and distinction category, with a significant number scoring above 85 per cent.

This year, 22 students are sharing the spot for state toppers with a perfect 100 per cent score. The names of students are as given here:

These students have displayed remarkable academic consistency, making it to the top of the merit list. The rare academic feat has been achieved by scoring 625 out of 625 in the Karnataka SSLC examination.
