The SSLC-1 examinations took place from March 21 to April 4, 2025, across 2,818 centres in Karnataka, with approximately 8.96 lakh students participating, including 4,61,563 boys and 4,34,884 girls. Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, the exams covered core subjects such as mathematics, science, and social science, alongside three language papers. The evaluation, supported by 65,000 assessors across 240 centres, ensured a thorough and transparent marking process.

In 2024, the SSLC-1 results, announced on May 9, recorded an overall pass percentage of 73.40%, with girls outperforming boys at 81% compared to 65%. Udupi district topped with a 94% pass rate, while Yadagiri recorded the lowest at 50.59%.
