Rohit Sharma announces retirement from Test cricket, says will continue to play ODI cricket

Rohit Sharma on Wednesday announced his retirement from Test cricket. Earlier this week, TOI.com reported that Rohit Sharma was not a guaranteed selection for the five-match Test series in England, as the BCCI was looking for a new captain.The Indian captain shared the message through a story on Instagram.“Hello everyone, I would just like to share that I am retiring from Test cricket,” he said in a statement.

“It’s been an absolute honour to represent my country in whites.
