MG Windsor Pro bookings commence today: First 8,000 customers to get this benefit
MG Motor India has officially opened bookings for its much-anticipated Windsor Pro EV, marking its entry with an attractive introductory price of Rs 17.49 lakh, ex-showroom. However, this special price is reserved exclusively for the first 8,000 bookings. Following that, the price may see a revision.MG is also continuing with its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, allowing customers to buy the Windsor Pro EV at a reduced ex-showroom price of Rs 12.50 lakh, with the battery available on a rental basis at Rs 4.5 per km.
MG Windsor EV Pro: Enhanced range and new features
The updated Windsor Pro is equipped with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack, boosting its range to 449 km on a single charge. Powering the vehicle is the same motor as before, delivering 136 hp and 200 Nm of peak torque. Charging options include a 7.4kW AC charger that fully charges the EV in around 9.5 hours, and a 60kW DC fast charger that brings the battery from 20% to 80% in just 50 minutes.
Additionally, the Windsor Pro introduces Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities. Visually, the Pro variant receives a subtle update with redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels and three new colour options: Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver. Inside, the cabin now sports a two-tone ivory and black finish.As for features, the model continues to get a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, panoramic glass roof, wireless phone charger, 9-speaker Infinity sound system, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, and six airbags. A new addition for convenience is the powered tailgate.

MG is further sweetening the deal for early buyers with a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner of the Windsor Pro. Additionally, the brand is offering its 3-60 assured buyback plan, guaranteeing 60% of the vehicle’s value after three years.
