His partner Phil Salt continued the chase, but eventually fell at 62. With a big ask of 236, RCB looked up to Mayank Agarwal, Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma, all of whom were dismissed for less than 25 runs.

SRH’s impressive bowling ensured that they picked up a win in their penultimate game of what proved to be an underwhelming season. RCB were bowled out for a total of 189, falling short of the demanding target of 231 by a whopping 42 runs. Despite the win, SRH’s position in the points table remains unchanged, at 8th. While their points tally changed from 9 to 11, it isn’t enough to take them above Kolkata Knight Riders, who have 12 points from 13 matches.Who’s that IPL player?As for Bengaluru, the defeat to SRH puts a massive dent in their hopes of securing a top-two finish.
