Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition: What’s new
This limited-run edition of the massively popular model has been developed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI). Visually, the model looks similar to the standard version but gets two paint options: Mid Green Magno and Red Magno. Unique touches include a “One of Thirty” plaque on the spare wheel cover, a customized protective strip with Collector’s Edition branding, and most notably, a grab handle inside the cabin engraved with the owner’s name.
As for the changes made to the interior, the Collector’s Edition features black and beige upholstery, paired with wooden trims and panels. Furthermore, the model gains 22-inch gold-finished alloy wheels. Powering this exclusive edition is the familiar 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine that generates 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque, paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The SUV sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds, with a top speed electronically capped at 240 kmph.
