Jharkhand Home Guard recruitment 2025: The Jharkhand Home Guard Corps has announced a major recruitment drive for 1,614 vacancies in Ranchi district for the year 2025. Of these, 1,276 posts are reserved for Rural Home Guards, and 338 for Urban Home Guards. Importantly, 50% of the vacancies across both categories are reserved for women candidates, and 5% of the women’s posts are earmarked for qualified divorced, abandoned, or widow women. If no suitable candidate is available from this category, the vacancies revert to the women’s reservation quota.Additionally, 50% of urban Home Guard vacancies are reserved for technically skilled candidates, such as doctors, engineers, advocates, nurses, computer operators, and other skilled professionals.
