The recruitment covers Sub-Inspector positions in the Taluk Police, Armed Reserve (AR), and Tamil Nadu Special Police (TSP). Those selected will be placed under the Level-10 pay band, earning between ₹36,900 and ₹1,16,600 per month.
Applicants must possess a graduate degree from a university recognized by the UGC or the state government. The age requirement is 20 to 30 years as of July 1, 2025, with age relaxations available for candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government policies.
The selection process for the Tamil Nadu SI Recruitment 2025 will be conducted in three stages. It will begin with a written examination that tests candidates on the Tamil language, general knowledge, and psychology. Those who qualify will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which assesses physical fitness. The final stage involves a viva voce or personal interview.
