Lamborghini Temerario launched: 10,000 rpm redline, 0-100 in 2.7 seconds

Lamborghini has launched its newest supercar, the Temerario, in India, priced at Rs 6 crore, ex-showroom. Notably, this model steps in as the successor to the Huracan, which was discontinued in 2024. Here’s a quick look at what the new baby Lamborghini has to offer.
Lamborghini Temerario: All you need to know
Design-wise, the Temerario is unmistakably Lamborghini. It carries forward the brand’s signature wedge-shaped silhouette with a low stance, aggressive lines, and aerodynamic tweaks. The front end is sharp and flat, flanked by sleek LED headlights with hexagonal DRLs. At the rear, a centrally-mounted exhaust system sits between hexagonal LED tail-lamps. Overall, the look is undeniably very sporty.
Speaking of the powertrain, the Temerario is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine combined with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 920 bhp and 1,029 Nm of torque. The engine alone produces 789 bhp and 729 Nm, while the electric motors add another 148 bhp and 300 Nm. This hybrid setup is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and is backed by a 3.8 kWh battery pack, which can be charged in just 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger.
In terms of straight-line performance, the numbers are staggering. Lamborghini claims the Temerario can rocket from 0-100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 kmph. Interestingly, the engine also revs up to 10,000 rpm, making it the highest-revving V8 ever fitted in a production car, according to the company.
Inside the cockpit, the Temerario gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, while passengers aren’t left out either, with a dedicated 9.1-inch screen that shows key driving data. Besides that, it also has a vertically mounted 8.4-inch infotainment system at the centre that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The model also features a new three-spoke steering wheel. Lamborghini has included several driving modes: Citta, Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Corsa Plus.
